My client, a Magic Circle law firm, has recently given instruction on an exciting opportunity working within their In-House Legal team as a Senior Employment Lawyer specialising in ER matters. The successful applicant will be at least 7 years PQE and have a proven track-record working within Employment law in the UK. My client will also consider candidates coming from both an In-House & Private Practice background.
This exciting opportunity is for a period of 12 - 15 months covering a period of maternity and will be made up of a mixture of both domestic and global work with a strong advisory focus.
The successful candidate for this role will possess the following:
- A strong Employment law background with good ER experience being highly advantageous
- A high level of emotional intelligence & understanding when dealing with ER issues, whilst also possessing confidence to deal with and manage the expectations of senior stakeholders.
- Experience of working In-House (at least on secondment) is highly preferential but Private Practice experience will be considered.
This role will be at least 50% home-working and my client will also consider candidates that are looking for 4 days per/week as well as full time.
