Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, maintain and develop the investment firm's risk management system
  • Coordinate and manage monitoring and controlling procedures for delegated services
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of the Risk Management and Outsource Controlling systems with relevant legal frameworks in the United Kingdom
  • Implement and maintain relevant processes, guidelines and manuals
  • Develop, implement and ensure continuous risk reporting to investment firm's bodies as well as group risk management
  • Ensure aligned and harmonised risk management process implementation for the UK investment platform
  • Support the Risk Management culture via close collaboration with internal and external business partners as well as conduction of information and training programmes
  • Engage in and/or manage internal projects with interfaces to Risk Management
  • Maintain the audited internal controls framework and support business functions in defining and executing control activities
  • Provide professional advice to other departments, particularly with regards to the UK platform
  • Interact with regulatory bodies, local industry associations, auditors and investors as regards Risk Management

Profile:

  • Degree (master/diploma)
  • Experience with implementation of risk management systems at regulated companies is required
  • Working experience with AIFM risk management, preferably in the area of real assets
  • Knowledge in risk management methodologies with particular focus on financial and real estate risks
  • Specific knowledge in real estate business is advantageous
  • Detailed user knowledge in standard MS Office applications and preferably additional experience in SAP, MS Access, VBA
  • Ability to efficiently work in decentralised teams using methods of virtual collaboration
  • Result- and target-oriented way of working and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
