Our client, a City firm highly rated in the Legal500 for their Property Litigation offering, is currently seeking a property litigator with 5+ years PQE to assist the firm with a full property litigation caseload on a fixed term contract basis until 2021. The role is to start ASAP and has the potential to extend beyond the initial 6 month period.
The successful candidate will have gained 5+ years experience as a property litigator from a Top City firm, rated in the Legal500 for the property litigation expertise. You will be able to start immediately or on up to one months notice.
You will be part of a successful team, covering a broad range of real estate litigation issues including all aspects of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, including both hostile and non-hostile lease renewal proceedings, dilapidations claims (primarily in respect of commercial properties) and general landlord and tenant matters relating to forfeiture, rent arrears and compliance with leasehold covenants. The practice area is primarily commercial and landlord based but there in some tenant work and a growing opportunity for some residential work.
