I am currently recruiting a professional indemnity legal counsel role for a leading accountancy firm to join their established legal team.
The legal team provide dedicated legal support to the UK firm, advising on all legal matters arising from their business including litigation, overseeing claims and regulatory proceedings, advising the firm on matters relating to its operations including mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, commercial contracting, governance and partnership law matters, employment law plus supporting the firm in client and supplier contracting.
The role will be to provide support on practice protection matters. Applicants must hold a law degree and a current UK practising certificate. Experience in professional negligence litigation for accountants (preferably on the defence side) and in negotiating with clients, regulators, and other lawyers are desirable.
