My client, an international investment bank, is looking to hire a strong finance lawyer to join the lean legal team of their London office. I have exclusively been instructed on this role and I am looking to speak with junior to mid-level lawyers (1-6 years' PQE) who have worked at a leading firm.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
-providing English law advice to the Corporate and Investment Banking division of the Bank, both locally and to the head office and international branches;
-reviewing, drafting and advising on a wide variety of contracts relating to, but not limited to, derivatives, fixed income and structured products (including ISDA confirmations, prospectuses, final terms, distribution agreements and confidentiality agreements);
-reviewing, drafting and advising on debt capital markets transactions;
-reviewing, drafting and negotiating master agreements (e.g. ISDA, CSA, GMRA, GMSLA); and
-reviewing lending documentation such as LMA credit facilities and security documents.
The successful candidate will be exposed to a breadth of quality work and will work alongside senior stakeholders from the outset. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who has decided that they would like to move in-house at this point in their career and I would ideally like to speak with candidates from Magic/Silver Circle or US law firms.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
