An excellent opportunity has arisen at a top international City law firm for an IP/IT lawyer on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The role has arisen to cover a period of maternity leave.
The work in the team is all non-contentious, and is split as follows:
- 60% M&A / Private Equity transactions, which have a significant technology / IP or Data Protection component. Whilst diligence is key, a good portion of this work requires working on transactional documents.
- 20% of the role responsibilities will be Data Protection
- 20% is Technology / (soft) IP / Brand, Trademarks / Licensing / Acquisitions / Analysis
The successful IP/IT lawyer is likely to have upwards of 2+ PQE with a relevant background gained from a highly regarded Top 200 London or national law firm. An understanding of M&A matters is essential for this role.
