A fantastic role for a September qualifier looking to specialise in employment law to join a full service global business law firm in Birmingham.
Working for a great mix of clients ranging from start-up businesses, emerging multinationals through to some of the biggest global brands in the world. As a junior lawyer you will have the chance to work for clients locally, internationally and across borders.
The role will cover a great mix of complex and varied contentious and non-contentious employment matters including; tribunal claims, local and international employee relations matters, acquisitions, expansions or reductions in staff, data privacy and protection, cross border and collective litigation and local/multi-jurisdictional compliance.
The ideal candidate will have completed an employment seat as part of their training contract and should be able to demonstrate comprehensive employment law knowledge, excellent analytical skills and a clear communication style both written and verbal.
In addition candidates should feel comfortable dealing directly with clients (both in the UK and international), working closely with colleagues across the UK as part of a collegiate team and be able to manage their time efficiently and be able to respond to requests in a timely matter from internal and external clients.
