This international entertainment organisation is looking for a Data Privacy Lawyer to join their team in London or Dublin.
Reporting to the Global Head of Data Privacy, this is an exciting opportunity to work with the Data Privacy Team to deliver data privacy advice and develop guidance on an ambitious range of technology and digital data assignments. Collaborating with a variety of internal stakeholders from around the world, including the Global Data Operations and Global Technology groups and Audience Engagement Team you will be expected to work responsively and be able to provide data privacy advice to add value, help deliver transformational business products that comply with international privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR, PECR and CCPA.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing privacy and data protection advice to the business, with a special focus on worldwide data driven initiatives for the global data operations teams, including the use of consumer data for marketing analytics and audience engagement activities
- Providing guidance on how best to ensure data protection by design and default is baked-into the design, build, test and deployment stages of all their activities
- Carrying out Data Protection Impact Assessments and providing solutions to mitigate data privacy risks on a variety of processing activities
- Overseeing data protection audits and reviews
To be successful in this role you should be a qualified solicitor with at least 4 years' experience working in a data privacy role, ideally within an international organisation.
