We are working with a global law firm as it builds out its construction capabilities in Melbourne.
From playing a pioneering role in the development of legislation and regulatory frameworks in the Asia region for almost 200 years, to acting on numerous 'firsts' across a range of industry and community issues, it is in their DNA to make a difference and help shape what their world looks like.
They have over 40 offices in 28 locations.
The construction disputes team delivers commercial and cost effective solutions utilising the whole spectrum of dispute resolution processes - including litigation, negotiation, mediation, arbitration, expert determination and adjudications. We provide advice on the avoidance, management and resolution of claims and disputes from the commencement of construction through to completion.
Working with some of the leading litigators in Australia, as a Senior Associate you will be responsible for guiding, advising and representing clients on a broad range of complex construction contracts and disputes on major projects.
The team supports flexible work practices and is interested in speaking to lawyers wanting to work part-time or full-time.
- Have at least 4 years experience in well-regarded construction practice
- Be working in a recognised construction practice
- Enjoy mentoring junior lawyers
- Have solid technical skills
