The team you will be joining manage a portfolio of Irish companies, ensuring their compliance with all relevant statutory and governance requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising and developing the profile of the Office of the Corporate Secretary and will report to the EMEA Head of the Office of the Corporate Secretary.
Other tasks you will be expected to execute include, but are not limited to:
- Managing and taking responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive company secretarial and governance service to a portfolio of internal entities in Ireland, advising senior stakeholders, directors, committee members and functional leads on a wide range of company law and governance issues
- Ensuring standards of corporate governance best practice are documented and adhered to at all times
- Preparing a wide variety of minutes, resolutions and associated documentation relating to share transfers, approval of accounts and issuing of Power of Attorney etc
- Assisting other members of the Office of the Corporate Secretary in reviewing, negotiating and approving for execution documentation, such as Powers of Attorney and Letters of Representation, originating from clients and their legal advisors
The desired candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in a similar role and will possess an ICSA Qualification or a graduate Law/Business degree.
