For a dynamic and disruptive US tech business we are looking to hire a senior litigation lawyer to join the in-house team as Associate General Counsel, EMEA.

Location: various options across Europe, including Amsterdam or Luxembourg.

About the role
Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel in London, you will work closely with the global litigation group to coordinate global litigation strategy and execution. You must have extensive experience managing high profile regulatory and commercial litigation matters across multiple European jurisdictions and have a demonstrable track record dealing with CJEU matters.

Your role will encompass developing the litigation strategy across EMEA, as well as taking the lead on numerous high profile matters.

About you:
To succeed in this role, you will be qualified in a EU jurisdiction/the UK with extensive experience of working on litigation matters (including CJEU) across multiple EU countries, the UK and EMEA. Dual EU/UK and US qualification as well as class action experience will be hugely advantageous. Also, knowledge of European and EMEA e-commerce and platform rules, with additional exposure to US platform rules would be advantageous.

You must be a highly adaptable and collaborative lawyer, comfortable with a fast pace, dynamic, entrepreneurial and ambitious organisation that is constantly exploring new frontiers in the markets they operate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who wants to join a global working group, drive litigation strategy by coordinating teams and harmonising litigation trends.

The ideal candidate will have around 10 years of PQE and be fluent in English.
